The UN Global Compact has launched the Blueprint for sustainability leadership.
The roadmap for sustainability leadership was first introduced in 2010 and was further discussed at the World Economic forum in Davos 2011. The discussion was led by the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

In addition, the UN Global Compact launched Global Compact LEAD in January 2011. It is a new platform for corporate sustainability leadership.
The main objective of this platform is to support leading UN Global Compact participants in their work to elevate their corporate sustainability performance and give them recognition for doing so. The UN Global Compact Blueprint for sustainability leadership will serve as guiding document.
The platform will not only serve the already best in class, it shall also serve the broader universe of UN Global Compact participants by providing inspiration and knowledge on corporate sustainability strategies and implementation.
